About this place
One diner expected cheese alone, then was surprised to find honey in the 10-yen bread at JONGNO YATAIMURA. The menu lists the cheese flavour at 500 yen and honey and cheese at 550 yen; choose the latter if you fancy a little sweetness with the cheese. The diner also noted that it was freshly made, making it a chance to try the two flavours together in one snack.
Korean corn dogs and tteokbokki are other options if you want a few bites. The cheese and sausage corn dogs each cost 400 yen, while a half-and-half version with both costs 450 yen. Tteokbokki is 500 yen, or 600 yen with cheese. One review described the corn dog as crisp and the tteokbokki as chewy, making them a good pairing for contrasting textures. A diner who chose the cheese corn dog also enjoyed the stretchy cheese with sugar, ketchup and mustard.
JONGNO YATAIMURA is in Momodani, Ikuno Ward, Osaka, and offers both eat-in and takeaway.
